My name is Sam Trumbore and I retired in June, 2023 from serving as the minister of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany. I served there since 1999. I’m also the co-author of Buddhist Voices in Unitarian Universalism with the Rev. Wayne Arnason.
Note that currently I’m considering serving as an interim minister – you can learn more about me as a minister by looking at my “search packet.”
I’m happily married to Philomena Moriarty and we have a son named Andrew who is a student at SUNY Potsdam. We live in East Greenbush, just across the river from Albany.
I’ve put my writings on-line since 1994. I started out posting them on a site I called Sam’s Bookshelf and Cafe. The link under the home page will take you there. I used to code that all in HTML 1.0 which became very tedious. In the summer of 2013 I made the jump to convert all my material to WordPress. I really like the fact that WordPress has all the formatting built-in and automatically generates RSS links. I can stick my videos on here as well as any audio I generate too. By blogging, I can quickly and easily send my material out to Facebook and Twitter.
